While I was on the bird (~8:30-9:30 am), the tide was low and the bird disappeared from few many times; so some patience may be in order, However the tide should now be just past high (Smith pt Bridge 1:24pm) so I suppose the birds location and activity may have changed accordingly. Mike Scheibel
