Today I had* 9 Black Vultures* in Lewiston - 7 at Lewiston Landing (the boat launch at the foot of Center St), 1 on the cel tower and 1 on the roof of St Peter's RC Church. The birds near the river were in the company of 1 Red-tailed Hawk and 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk. I had only 3 Turkey Vultures, and these birds were in flight at Center St and 6th St.
There were none of the more noteworthy gulls on the river, and the only other birds on the water during my brief visit were several cormorants.
