[nysbirds-l] Eurasian Wigeon - Tonawanda WMA (Genesee Co.)
I was able to see the Eurasian Wigeon reported yesterday by Peter Yeorg at North Feeder Marsh, Tonawanda WMA, in Alabama, NY. The bird was associating with 2 dozen American Wigeon. It was identifiable without a scope, however a scope would be helpful. I was told these birds left just before 5:00 pm, but perhaps it will return tomorrow.
