65th Avenue is the closest place to park, and more often than not , there is
a spot or two available. There is a traffic light here and a bus stop. Just
getting beyond the bus stop, a good part of the pond can be viewed even from
the sidewalk. There is a paved trail not too far to the north, but you can
just descend down the grassy hill side before the trail. That'll bring you
down closer to the center of the pond, anyway. And I might as well mention -
now that I have no idea what time of the day this bird will show up -
viewing gets progressively worse into the afternoon if it's sunny.

The Greater White-Fronted Goose was presented in the middle of the Alley
Pond Restoration Pond as of 9:35. Also present were a few redheads,
ring-necked ducks, a couple greater scaup, pied-billed grebe, 2 swans, and
some buffleheads. As of writing this email, some geese are currently flying
away from the pond.
