*NY County Highlights (Winter season ranking): *

Gadwall (5), Red-breasted Merganser, Red-throated Loon, Great Blue Heron
(3), Cooper's Hawk, American Kestrel, Common Raven (2), Hermit Thrush,
*American
Pipit* (heard), *Chipping Sparrow*, Red-winged Blackbird (6) & *European
Goldfinch* (~12).

A small flock of ~12 European Goldfinch circled and landed in a small
Sweetgum Tree in Hammock Grove. A smaller flock, possibly from the same
group, were seen later in a large Sweetgum Tree just off Nolan Park between
the fours and fives buildings. Both groups were vocal.

*1st hour*: *13 spp.*; *2nd*: *+6*; *3rd*: *+0*; *4th*: *+3*; *5th*: *+4*;
*6th*: *+6* = *32 spp.*
