*NY County Highlights (Winter season ranking): * Gadwall (5), Red-breasted Merganser, Red-throated Loon, Great Blue Heron (3), Cooper's Hawk, American Kestrel, Common Raven (2), Hermit Thrush, *American Pipit* (heard), *Chipping Sparrow*, Red-winged Blackbird (6) & *European Goldfinch* (~12).
A small flock of ~12 European Goldfinch circled and landed in a small Sweetgum Tree in Hammock Grove. A smaller flock, possibly from the same group, were seen later in a large Sweetgum Tree just off Nolan Park between the fours and fives buildings.
