[nysbirds-l] Harlequin Duck - Orient Point

2019-12-29 Thread pmaxp
During yesterday’s Orient CBC, we (myself and Brian Kane) observed 4 Harlequin
Ducks (2 adult males, 1 adult female and 1 young male). They were among the
rocks off the point feeding actively. The tide was nearly high at the time of
observation.

[nysbirds-l] Harlequin Duck - Orient Point, Suffiolk County

2014-11-04 Thread Eileen Schwinn
A male, Harlequin Duck is currently being seen from the end of the dirt road
(east of the ferry terminal parking area) at Suffolk County Park, looking
south. The bird is with White-winged Scoters and Common Eider. It was reported
by John Sep late last week at this location.
