[nysbirds-l] Peregrine Falcon at Udall’s Cove and Pond Park in Great Neck (Nassau)

There has been a peregrine falcon seen and photographed in Udall’s Cove (at the 
end of Laurel Drive) in Great Neck Estates this past weekend. A peregrine 
(perhaps the same?) was again this morning flying over nearby Pond Park.  While 
people have recorded flyovers at this park and in the area before, there is 
hope that perhaps the bird may be staying local this season.

Got a brief glimpse of the Harris’s Sparrow at 2:30pm this afternoon, 
confirming that it still is present in the yard at 579 Meadowdale Road, 
Altamont, NY.

The Harris’ popped out into the open for just a moment on the edge of the small 
fenced-in garden beyond the driveway on the south side of the backyard.
