[nysbirds-l] Ross's Goose Chenango NY Broome County
This morning George Chiu found a Ross's Goose with a group of Canada geese at Boland Pond in Chenango, NY. The bird didn't stay long and flew off to the south. I re-found the bird within a grouping of Canada Geese at Chenango Bridge Park in Chenango, NY later in the morning. The bird continues in this general area as of late afternoon. This is the second time in the last 4 weeks that Ross's Geese have been recorded in Broome County. Before this, we have never recorded a Ross's Goose in Broome County before!!
