Van Cortlandt Lake is about 90% ice. But in the 10% water part I saw a male Common Merganser today at about 3 pm, a Bronx first for me! Some Rusty Blackbirds and a few Redwing Blackbirds rounded out the day. Happy birding...Martin Carney
