Sora confirmed in dense planting's south of SE corner of Bryant Park lawn (rail 
w short yellow bill). Very skulky. Briefly seen in amongst ferns adjacent to 
taller white-flowering shrub.  Best chance for view appears to be from south 
side path looking north through rail (heh heh) posts. Will take patience...

vegetation made the views difficult but size, silhouette and behavior were 
positive and I would rule out anything rarer.  Also in the same spot we had a 
Sora a few years ago.

This Godwit has spent the last 2.5 weeks in the New Jersey Meadowlands. It was 
last seen this past Monday and was not seen Tuesday. Most likely the same bird 
as it has an injured leg that sticks out to the side.
