I don't know exactly why and when, but accessing an property in the version
store can yield to an NPE in CompiledPermissionImpl.getTreePermission() if the
TreeLocation is a PropertyLocation. then TreeLocation.getTree() returbs NULL
and subsequently causes a NPE.
