INILAH.COM, Jakarta - Pemerintah akan tetap menerapkan kebijakan Free Trade 
Agreement (FTA) ASEAN-China sesuai dengan komitmen.

FTA ASEAN-China akan mulai diterapkan pada awal Januari 2010. "Indonesia akan 
tetap melaksanaakaan komitmennya sesuai perjanjian," ujar Wakil Menteri 
Perdagangan Mahendra Siregar di Gedung Departemen Keuangan, Selasa (15/12).

Hal ini juga dipertegas pernyataan Kepala Badan Kebijakan Fiskal Anggito 
Abimanyu. "Pada 1 Januari tetap jalan, menkeu diminta untuk menjalankan 
komitmennya," ujar Anggito pada tempat yang sama.

Mahendra menyatakan, dengan adanya FTA tidak melulu pelaku usaha dirugikan. 
"Yang diuntungkan itu ada, resources base dan agro base," pungkasnya.
