Setelah pasti akan mengerjakan proyek penambangan alumina chemical grade di TAYAN bersama SUMITOMO Jepang dgn kapasitas 200.000 ton/tahun, ANTM akan membuka penambangan (ambil alih) ALUMINA CHEMICAL GRADE di pulau BINTAN, dgn partner perusahaan dari RRC, kabarnya kapasitas produksi lebih besar dari yg di TAYAN, tapi saham ANTM lebih kecil dari yg di TAYAN. Mungkin di perusahaan joint di BINTAN ini hanya 30% (di TAYAN ANTM 49%).
