Support told me this looks like a bug that was fixed in
ocfs2-2.6.18-194.EL5-1.4.7-2
We're running 1.4.7-1 currently, and the kernel is older (2.6.18-128).
So, apparently, the bug (if that's what caused the crash) was fixed
between 1.4.7-1 and 1.4.7-2.

The log is not complete. It is best to configure netconsole/kdump/etc
to capture the full oops trace.
Having said that, the following patch fits the issue best. Available in
releases after 1.4.7.
