I can confirm what Brian is saying... I have a cluster that looks
like this:
Nodes a/b/c/d/e/f: sharing vol1
Nodes c/d/e/f: sharing vol2
Cluster.conf contains definitions for a-f.
Although, in Brian's example, nodes e/f/g never share volumes with the
others, so it wouldn't necessarily have to be
I believe that due to the way the fencing works you only need a single
cluster to have multiple volumes. Just make sure that all of the hosts
involved are specified in the same cluster.conf file.
For example, nodes a, b, c could mount volume1, while b, c, d mount
volume2, and e, f, g mount volume
