The responsibilities include the ability to assist with making strategic technology decisions as well as improving existing processes and procedures with all facets of the desktop deployment infrastructure. • Interface with all levels of the business globally to provide technical knowledge and/or leadership in the desktop engineering and deployment space. • Provide expertise in the support of small to moderate size projects including evaluation of processes and products related to Microsoft operating systems. • Expert knowledge in 2 or more related technology areas. • Has broad practical knowledge of many technologies (e.g. Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, Windows Server infrastructure, etc). Stays up to date and current on developments and new technology. • Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation. • Ability to handle multiple and moderately sized assignments simultaneously. • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and standards in selecting methods and techniques for problem solving and finding results. • Investigates and resolves problems. • Provides technical and architectural assistance to implementation teams. • Serve as a project team member on medium sized technical projects.
