Hi all,
I checked in a modified Makefile that reads the configuration using mpicc
-showme. This should allow compilation regardless of where OpenMPI is
installed. The only important thing is that the mpicc found in the path
should point to mpicc as supplied by Open MPI.

I upgraded the Makefile, but I am still working on openmpi_ext.
Even this preliminary release works perfectly
