I generated both examples using the same pdflatex (the bulk one from
texlive/Ubuntu Lucid). My libpoppler version is 0.12.4-0ubuntu4.

Valgrind doesn't seem to find anything special, and it prevents the glibc
detected abort.

Ok, this works now.
I have opened krusader in /tmp/kde-user directory and saw that while generating
preview it first created okular-xxx.ps file with 650mb in size (whis was
