If it crashes switching to raster i very much suspect the bug is somewhere in
your X stack

The valgrind output is pretty useless, please get:
a) a valgrind carrying suppressions for glibc 2.12
b) debug symbols for okular and qt, at least

Okular is unresponsive to keyboard commands. But scrolling using mouse works.
Even if you click once with the mouse over the page view?

Yes. After I click once over the page view the keyboard remains unresponsive.
Even if I try after scrolling with the mouse, it remains unresponsive.
I just did some more tests.
