Right, you need to Esc twice to cancel the last search (see how the second
Esc un-highlights your last search). Is that too hard? Maybe we can just add

No. The behaviour is the same even if I close the Find bar with Esc, browse
to a different page and then search on the current page by pressing F3,F3
or F3,Enter.
