I see that Adobe and some other PDF versions come with a Night Mode, which
is helpful if you are reading in a dark environment. Basically the color of
ink turns white and the page turns black.
I was wondering if this functionality is required or are there some other
functionality

Well that is correct.
I tried to invert the colors but did not see an option. That sounds good.
