I did a few more tests. Hyperlinks don't work with my distribution's (Debian
Testing) poppler and okular either. I see the red and green boxes around the

I got it fixed for me. No bug, apparently I screwed something up mixing KDE
stuff from Debian with handcompiled stuff. When I really(!) removed all my

The RichMedia annotation expects the document viewer to have flash-playing(!)
capabilitities. See for example the documentation of Alexander Grahn's
'media9' LaTeX package for some details

My poppler is the git head, compiled from source.

With the gstreamer backend 4.6.0 from Debian stable it does indeed work.

Looks good here. What is your backend? Is it 'ghostscript'? You can find
which backend you use in settings-viewer module settings (name guessed from
the German translation).

I have recently updated my entire system to Debian testing, and recompiled
poppler and okular (from git master) from scratch. That was earlier in the day

I purged the system okular + libraries from my computer, just to be sure I am
not secretly starting that one.

Oh stupid me.
I know what it says on that page, and I had followed those instructions. But
on rechecking I remembered that I had a second old instance of okular compiled
and forgotten

Okay, I couldn't bisect because my system was messed up. Now I have fixed
that, and bisection tells me
