As for the pictures, I found out that they are displayed alright; however, it
takes some time until the full resolution is reached (ca. 10 sec on my 1GHz
laptop). A good file to test this with

About the text thing i already told you to install poppler-data package, it is
not fun that you ignore me that way.
About images, i see all of them the same way in okul
