Hi,
I am running cooker on real hardware. Today, when I plug in a USB drive,
I cannot access it. lsusb does show it, but nothing appears in /dev.
lsusb:
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:8000 Intel Corp.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:8008
I updated and mine is still working. Maybe something didn't get to your
mirror at time of update?

Okay, that's reasonable - scared me for a bit.

This should be fixed by upstream.

It's virtualbox issue.
To clear things up. SDDM is using advanced OpenGL features through Qt5. In
case of virtualbox there is a well know issue that after some 4.x version
vbox lost it's ability to properly handle OpenGL (3D acceleration).
Make sure you have installed latest vbox additions,
Qemu? VMware? We seem to have qemu in 2014 repos. Would it be helpful if
switching from VBox to have a gentlemen's agreement to use same virtual
machine?

out it is also used when you log in to tty in localhost... Then i forgot to
revert this.

The dates on that are from June. Shouldn't it have then been fixed a
long time ago?

I was sure that you would tell me that the culprit was vbox ;)

Last time I tried vmplayer it had crap support for EFI.
I'm pretty sure Vmware are in dispute with FSF as well so it wouldn't be my vm
of choice.
