Hi All,
There will be a short TC meeting today.
Ben Bullard has posted a couple of questions that we need to address.
Other items will be accepted under AOB.
Best,
Colin

Hi @all
i wonder again to read "black screen"... whats wrong with ur release?
wrong xorg.conf?
i am only using nvidia, here are my xorg.conf, test out but backup ur
old xorg.conf
regards
# nvidia-xconfig: X configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig
# nvidia-xconfig: version
This is odd, when I attempted to disable tuned.service I get:
# systemctl disabled tuned.service
Unknown operation disabled.
and it will not disable. I can stop it but not disable it. After every
boot it's still running. Any idea what's afoot?

And FWIW I get up and down (way down) timed read speeds (hdparm -t) on
my SSD with tuned.service running. But I'm coming to think this is a red
herring and that it is just adjusting things based on what it senses
system needs at the time. Anyway currently on this system I'm leaving it
enabled
Joerg,
Ultimately the issue was due to sddm trying to start with a non-existant user.
The problem was that calamares was not clearing the autologin data
in the sddm.conf file when the autologin option was unchecked in the installer.
Best,
Colin
