By doing this, you silence the warning that points you to a real error.
perl-URPM expects $p-description to contain the public key, and you
just set it to empty value:)

{cachedir}/partial/pubkey, tries to import /var/cache/urpmi/partial/pubkey

called which returns 1 when pubkey matches gpg-pubkey from parse_pubkeys_
$db-traverse_tag('name', [ 'gpg-pubkey' ],

I think there is some issue with getting gpg-key from RPM db.
That's right - this is why $p-description becomes uninitialized. It
should contain description of 'gpg-pubkey' package, and this description
actually contains the public key (just launch 'rpm-qi gpg-pubkey' and
take a look at its description).

perl-URPM is intended to walk through all packages named 'gpg-pubkey'
(this is what db-traverse_tag should do) and extract public keys from
their descriptions. But for some reason, traverse_tag seems to fail or
at least not to extract package descriptions correctly. Maybe it simply
doesn't extact these descriptions or use some other name for the field?
Could you dump the whole contents of the '$p' hash for debug?

I've also removed all /var/lib/rpm/__db* and run rpm --rebuilddb but without

[OM Cooker] Kernel availability status: 3.0.101 - 3.10.35 - 3.12.15 - 3.13.8

2014-04-01 Thread Nicolò Costanza
Kernel availability status: 3.0.101 - 3.10.35 - 3.12.15 - 3.13.8

Kernel LTS 3.0.101 (EOL) for ROSA Marathon 2012 (only)
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38t=4386

this is the latest version of the Longterm 3.0 for Marathon:
I renewed few patches, BFQ has been updated to current v7r2,
the BR have been updated to the latest we use for new kernel
Next weeks, I think I can add some other improvements to it

Kernel LTS 3.10.35 for ROSA Marathon 2012 and Fresh 2012.1
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38t=4387

This time we added two patches proposed by Eugene S. related
to the fix with a working ACPI for all the Samsung Laptops

Kernel LTS 3.12.15 for ROSA 2012 2012.1 OMV 2013 2014
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38t=4385

I remind You that Kernel 3.12 has been promoted as LongTerm
so it will be supported for two years
With ROSA Fresh it works very fine also with non-free drivers
currently avaialable for Fresh (I've tested all Nvidia ones)

Kernel 3.13.8 for ROSA 2012 2012.1 OMV 2013 2014 cooker
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38t=4388

Current development Kernel will be used in OpenMandriva 2014
It works fine with all free software into Marathon Fresh,
compatibility issues with some current proprietary drivers.

Next days, apart usual nrj/nrjQL releases, I'm going to prepare:
- the updated -rt and -rtQL flavours for Kernel 3.10
- the first -rt and -rtQL flavours for Kernel 3.12
then
- the first kernel vanillas flavours for 3.12 and 3.13

I think to renew Kernel LTS 3.2, that might be best candidate for
a future Marathon big update, being a LongTerm upto 2016 year

Longterm release kernels
Version
Maintainer
Released
Projected EOL
3.12 Jiri Slaby 2013-11-03 2016
3.10 Greg Kroah-Hartman 2013-06-30 Sep, 2015
3.4 Greg Kroah-Hartman 2012-05-20 Oct, 2014
3.2 Ben Hutchings 2012-01-04 2016
2.6.32 Willy Tarreau 2009-12-03 Mid-2014

P.S:
We are waiting the next BFQv7r3, first test results are really amazing!

Preliminary discussions about who goes ended up with: probably worth having
only Brazilian members working at our booth, due to language (without
portuguese you are able to do much less) and due to overlap with LinuxTag in
Berlin.

Though the topic is open, and if you have ideas/suggestions - please give a

Hello,

this TC is related to RC1 release. Last ISOs builds unfortunately does not
boot, and after some investigations this is close to kernel-3.13.7. Good
sign is that kernel-3.13.8 boots without any problems, but we need to be
sure with ISO images.

According to sf.net OpenMandriva 2014.0 BETA has been downloaded *2 939 *
times!!!

Here is the agenda for today:

1. What about RC1 release? - If we produce next ISO today with kernel
3.13.8 - QA still have 3 days for testing. This is optimistic scenario.
What if we have NOGO or new ISO won't boot ? Let's have a clear solution in
this case - postpone RC for 2 weeks and same goes with GA date.

2. Status of BUG Squashing - Dear QA please resume this topic,

3. Version freeze - do we have any packages that need update ?

4. Other topics related to 2014.0 release.

Unfortunately i'm not going to take a lead on this meeting, got other
things to do like to visit my medicine doctor :( So please Bero or Itchka
take the lead for this meeting.

Cheers.
