it's a really good point to raise here.
Taking in count last stable version today (Feb 17) is 3.13.3 my suggestion is
using this one, at least 'till we don't have a stable 3.14 tree.
I think any version 3.13 should be fine, so we can introduce a better support
for most of new Radeon

If omv2014 final is for mid April, it's rather difficult having 3.14...
only postponing omv2014 to mid/end May, it would be possible 3.14
what is possible:
omv2014 beta kernel = 3.12.11/12
omv2014 rc1 kernel = 3.13.6/7
omv2014 rc2 kernel
An update from 2014 with newest 3.14 kernel should be quite good!
Also I was talking to Bero about a Pegatron Platform device driver I wrote a
few months ago to add support for
hotkeys on Linux platform for some Pegatron laptop. I was thinking about
include it into our kernel.
