I have two problem for use a zfs dataset in a zone.
First, i would like use it as a device
zfs create -V5g rpool/data0
In zonecfg:
add device
set match = "/dev/zvol/dsk/rpool/data0"

I boot the zone, and the device don't appear.

Perhaps iperf can help you for identify this problem.
When i have this sort of failure under Solaris, i use iperf for load
bandwidth and set different TCP window size. During the test, i use snoop
for see at what moment the problem appear come.

Few weeks ago, i started to translate the OmniOS documentation in french.
I asked to some sysadmin friends, what they are thinking about it.
And conclusion, for people that know Solaris 10 or 11, it's not a problem.
They know what is a zone, zfs,... but for others, it's more difficult for
them
