Andy,

You are correct.. I had forked them from OmniTI's area by mistake..

Let me say that my head was spinning yesterday from trying to build
illumos.. I started with the build instructions from the illumos wiki and
that was a real exercise in frustration.. Then I did the OmniOS build
instructions and had much more success but still a few snags. Then I found
the OmniOSce web page and was working through it. The folks int he OmniOSce
community seem to have put together a really good tool for building illumos
as my build was successful!

But, now I'm having a problem with building media..

Have you built both the core illumos and OmniOS userland bits?

That's:

omni build_illumos
omni build_omnios

It looks like you're missing the second (userland) part.

[OmniOS-discuss] Running on latest Xeon-Skylake servers?

Curious... has anyone here in OmniOS-land run bloody or current-stable on
very recent Intel Skylake server hardware?  For example:

We're seeing some weirdness with SmartOS, and wanted to know if similar
weirdness was happening with anyone out there?
