St. Louis is a beautiful city which is sometimes victim ofit's own
provincialism. St. Louis has beautiful areas, which are very wealthy, and other
areas which, while once beautiful,  have become quite squalid.

The beautiful golf course at Bellerive CountryClub, in Town and Country,
Missouri  isthe focus of St. Louis today, as it hosts the final round of the
PGAChampionship.  While title of nationalchampion in golf has been given in
golf, at least since 1894, the PGA wasfounded in 1916 and held their first
championship that Autumn.  This 100th championship is the last to becontested,
for the foreseeable future, in Fall, as next May the PGAchampionship will shift
to Spring.

Sundays final round promises to be exciting.  28 year old Brooks Koepka
promises to have anexciting day, as  he finished Saturday inthe lead, and may
well keep that lead.  Thanksto a four-under 66 Saturday at Bellerive Country
Club, Koepka holds atwo-stroke lead through 54 holes in the 100th PGA
Championship, the second timethis year he’ll sleep on a third-round lead in a
major.  At 12-under 198, Koepka is two ahead offormer Masters champion,
Australian Adam Scott, who needed a special exemptionto get into the field. The
list of pursuers within four shots include Spaniard JonRahm, Rickie Fowler,
Tiger Woods, Jason Day and defending champion JustinThomas.

Meanwhile....  InEurope....

English Premier League began their regular season thisweekend.  While most
Europeans arecelebrating their annual vacation period, England is in the back
to schoolmode, apparently, as their brothers across the pond.

The Spaniards have saved this weekend for a preliminaryreturn to Soccer, with
the Supercopa battle Sunday.  Barcelona will look to add yet anotherdomestic
trophy to their collection when they take on Sevilla, on territory nolonger
part of Spain.  The trophy will bea one-off match played at the Stade Ibn
Batouta in Tangier, Morocco.

Sevilla must hope a change of country canhelp them upset the odds after a
chastening 5-0 defeat by Barcelona in thefinal of the Copa del Rey in April.
With Barca having won both the league andthe cup, Sevilla provide the
opposition once again.  The only major Spanish honour Barca have notwon in the
last four seasons was the league title in 2017, lost to Real Madrid.

They have been less dominant in theSupercopa, beating Sevilla in 2016 but
losing to Athletic Bilbao in 2015 andMadrid 12 months ago.
