I've done all steps in the FAQ section, but a problem that no one has ever came
up with occured. Please take a look at my comments on the page above. Hope any

AAI Devs,

We have had lively discussion around AAI on the weekly Wednesday call and are
routinely going over time. I am proposing that we add an additional
developer’s session once a week – vote for your preferred time here:

Re: [onap-discuss] [TCA] No Policy Threshold violated by the VES CEF Message

2018-10-17 Thread Jorge Hernandez
Hi Xoan,

All those 3 topics are configured as anonymous topics across DCAE, APPC, and
Policy components.   They are created the first time a message is published on
it (with the caveat that the first message is lost, it just creates it), so you
may find a glitch on the first time you run the scenario that exercises the
topic for the first time, but should not in subsequent ones.

To force creation of an anonymous topic too and avoid interference with your
first flow,  send a dummy message to the topic to trigger the creation, for
example:

curl --silent -X POST --header "Content-Type: application/json" -d "{}"
http:// message-router:3904/events/ POLICY-CL-MGT

Check also the list of topics, and make sure it shows with:

curl --silent -X GET http://message-router:3904/topics/ (
http://message-router:3904/topics/ )

Jorge

Subject: [Onap-seccom] [openlab] Security team Requesting lab access

Hi Openlab team,
The security team is looking for a lab to test its security. We will need
access to an instance which has the whole ONAP suite installed and also install
and run a few applications that will test the os itself and also the docker
setup.
I know that we have multiple lab setups that gets updated on a daily basis, can
we take one of them for our testing?
Also can you confirm that all the lads run the same version of OS so that we
don’t have to test multiple instances?
Regards
Arul

Re: [onap-discuss] [TCA] No Policy Threshold violated by the VES CEF Message

2018-10-17 Thread jkzcristiano
Thank you Jorge,

Actually, I tried those curls before but they added a second version of the
policy instead of updating the current one. I usually prefer to have everything
as default as possible to avoid errors in demos so I ended up with helm delete
/ helm install.

Anyway, currently DCAE_CL_OUTPUT topic exists and has alarms but POLICY-CL-MGT
and APPC-CL do not exist :(

Kind regards,

Xoan

Re: [onap-discuss] [AAI] [OOM] AAI Elastic search pod not coming up in master branch

2018-10-17 Thread Michael O'Brien
Sirisha,
Hi, that is a common OS based issue for some new VM’s depending on your
undercloud – this is the vm.max_map_count of 64k instead of 256Kb limitation -
not 256Gb on the OS.
This occurs for all elasticsearch containers whether AAI, CLAMP, LOG, SDC….
Run the following before doing a helm install – and all the ES containers
including the one in AAI will come up fine.

sudo sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=262144

   There is documentation on this.
First noticed this in Rancher 1.6.11 – fixed via
https://jira.onap.org/browse/LOG-334 (OOM-431).

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Cloud+Native+Deployment#CloudNativeDeployment-vm.max_map_count64to256kblimit

And I run this command by default in the installation script to bootstrap
Helm/Kubernetes/Docker via the Rancher install in (there are 4 other installers
that do the same in ONAP)
Not in
https://git.onap.org/logging-analytics/tree/deploy/rancher/oom_rancher_setup.sh
but in the OOM CD deployment script just before doing a helm install
https://git.onap.org/logging-analytics/tree/deploy/cd.sh#n49
  # fix virtual memory for onap-log:elasticsearch under Rancher 1.6.11 - OOM-431
  sudo sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=262144

thank you
/michael

Subject: [onap-discuss] [AAI] [OOM] AAI Elastic search pod not coming up in
master branch

Hi All,

I am installing ONAP using OOM master branch with AAI enabled, in a two node
kubernetes cluster with each node having 64GB RAM. But the AAI elastic search
pod is expecting 256GB RAM and is stuck in crashloopback state. Please find the
logs below.

So, to install OOM should the kubernetes node have 256 GB, or am I missing
something. Kindly let me know.

Re: [onap-discuss] [A] [Beijing] Custom query on A

2018-10-17 Thread Morgan Richomme
Hi Christina

thanks for your answer.
I gave a try to the 2 options you mention

with the simplified nodes enpoint
/nodes/service-instances/service-instance/{service-instance-id}, I am able to
get vnf-id(s) corresponding to a given instance_id

my_aai.get_vnfid_from_instance_id("598c6345-c162-4330-97f3-017d65108883")
{'service-instance-id': '598c6345-c162-4330-97f3-017d65108883',
'service-instance-name': 'test_ubuntu16_9JGB5Y', 'environment-context': 'null',
'workload-context': 'Production', 'model-invariant-id':
'd64b343d-7768-4960-ba62-6e5921cc84d5', 'model-version-id':
'29e8a1b3-e467-4b30-b04b-313c762396b5', 'resource-version': '1539174443770',
'orchestration-status': 'Active', 'relationship-list': {'relationship':

[{'relationship-key': 'project.project-name', 'relationship-value':

'org.onap.relationships.inventory.ComposedOf', 'related-link':

'related-to-property': [{'property-key': 'generic-vnf.vnf-name',

But I do not get the vfmodule_id(s) associated with the VNFs, I can use
/network/generic-vnfs/generic-vnf/{vnf-id}/vf-modules" for that
my_aai.get_vfmoduleid_from_vnf_id("c4161e30-cf6d-41cd-be32-0e5c4c9e97d6")
{'vf-module': [{'vf-module-id': 'b437e6ec-3635-4bf2-8484-e5d2e08298a3',

'1e130ab8-9f77-434d-a545-1e572bc49b44', 'module-index': 0}]}

with the full service service instance URI
/business/customers/customer/{global-customer-id}/service-subscriptions/service-subscription/{service-type}/service-instances/service-instance/{service-instance-id}
I got the same answer than with the simplified node enpoint

I can do it in 2 steps but I am pretty sure it is possible to do it in 1.

[onap-discuss] [AAI] [OOM] AAI Elastic search pod not coming up in master branch

2018-10-17 Thread Gopigiri, Sirisha via Lists.Onap.Org
Hi All,

I am installing ONAP using OOM master branch with AAI enabled, in a two
node kubernetes cluster with each node having 64GB RAM. But the AAI elastic
search pod is expecting 256GB RAM and is stuck in crashloopback state.
Please find the logs below.

So, to install OOM should the kubernetes node have 256 GB, or am I missing
something. Kindly let me know.

[onap-discuss] [openlab] Security team Requesting lab access

2018-10-17 Thread Arul Nambi
Hi Openlab team,
The security team is looking for a lab to test its security. We will need
access to an instance which has the whole ONAP suite installed and also install
and run a few applications that will test the os itself and also the docker
setup.
I know that we have multiple lab setups that gets updated on a daily basis, can
we take one of them for our testing?
Also can you confirm that all the lads run the same version of OS so that we
don't have to test multiple instances?
Regards
Arul

[onap-discuss] [appc] APPC CDT- Specifying Source as A in Parameter Definition

2018-10-17 Thread Viresh R Navalli
Hi Taka,

On further investigation of specifying Source as A in Parameter Definition,
we observed below result while running configure action from appc swagger. We
tried to use the rule-type as 'vnf-name' and response-keys (unique-key-name:
parent-name, unique-key-value: vnf, field-key-name: vnf-name)

Please find attached PD file, payload and logs-
2018-10-17 08:20:36,981 | ERROR | ppc-dispatcher-7 | InstarClientNode
  | 409 - appc-common - 1.3.0 - SvcLogicGraph [module=APPC,
rpc=ProcessParameterDefinition, mode=sync, version=4.0.0,

data
com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.exc.UnrecognizedPropertyException: Unrecognized
field "rule-type" (class org.onap.sdnc.config.params.data.Parameter), not
marked as ignorable (9 known properties: "requestKeys", "name", "defaultValue",
"responseKeys", "ruleType", "type", "source", "description", "required"])
at [Source: java.io.StringReader@450691af; line: 1, column: 105] (through
reference chain: org.onap.sdnc.config.params.data.Parameter["rule-type"])

Queries are-

1. Do we need to upload the key file for parameters with A as source?
From wiki it seems that it is only required if the source is other than A

2. How this rule type really works? Is this rule-type represents the AAI
object and field key-name represents the actuals field name?

3. How can we specify the new ruletype and new field-key-name? Do we need
to add the data in any of the properties file or table?

4. Can someone validate if the attached PD file in the right format or
any missing attributes?

_
Thanks & Regards
Viresh N

Yes. Those Configure actions are nothing changing in Casablanca. Thus should be
in Beijing.

Subject: [onap-discuss] [appc] APPC CDT- Specifying Source as A in Parameter
Definition

Hi,
We are trying to upload the parameter definitions from CDT and trying to
specify the source as A If we specify the source as A the values
should be fetched from A while preparing the config templates and APPC does
not expect these values in the Configure/ConfigScaleout request. However we
are getting errors while executing the configure request.

I was checking demo Videos of CDT and it seems that specifying source as A
,not available in Beijing and APPC always expects these values from SO. Queries
are-

1. Can you please confirm if source as A is not supported for
Configure, ConfigScaleout, ModifyConfig? Or specifically it is not supported
only for ConfigScaleout?
[Taka] Source as A is supported for all Configure related actions

2. Could you please confirm if this functionality included in Casablanca
release?
[Taka] Yes

[onap-discuss] [integration] openstack stack 100 limited

2018-10-17 Thread Liu Chenglong
Hi:
When vcpe is deployed in the openstack, stacks and instances will be
created, and each project on the openstack limits the maximum number of stacks
to 100. The suggestion given by Feng He Yang Bin is to build another new
project if a project's stack is full, and create the stack and instances of
the vcpe in the new project. The problem is:
1. For the same openstack environment, does ONAP support the creation of
stacks and instances in different projects when handling vcpe use cases? If
supported, what configuration do we need to make?
2. For different cloud environments and different projects, does ONAP
support the creation of stacks and instances in cloud environments and
different projects when dealing with vcpe use cases? If supported, what
configuration do we need to make?

Re: [onap-discuss] [OOM] Referencing a job name from another chart

2018-10-17 Thread Borislav Glozman
Hi,

The job aaf-sms-preload should have no Release.Name in its name
Oof should look for that job without Release.Name either. Since there are no
other jobs with same name in this namespace, this will work.
Usage of Release.Name should be minimal and only when completely necessary
(like in case of sharing configuration between different charts of same
component, and even then it is a stretch).

Thanks,

Using helm install in the same helm release will not run into this issue.

Hi,

In the deployment.yaml of oof,. we need to wait till the job aaf-sms-preload
(defined inside aaf-sms subcharts) using job_complete.py. I tried to use {{
.Release.Name }}-aaf-sms-preload to get the name but since it is in a different
project, it is failing. Is there any way we can refer a job defined in another
chart?

Thanks,
