Hi,
I have installed the ONAP successfully over RHOSP-10 (newton). I was able to
successfully create licensing model & virtual function.
Distributed the VSP as well, but my dcae was unable to reach the keystone
server, so during defining some workaround of routing openstack crashed(due to
identified issues).
Now I am trying to install again and found 1.0-STAGING-latest tag is missing.
So in my understanding ONAP will take time to mature. (latest: approval of
redundant projects.)

Hmm.. doesn't work really... Same for /opt/portal_install.sh... once
again my question: Anybody out there with sufficient luck to get an
vanilla openstack instance and run the demo examples? I think I read here
an there success stories and I wonder ... well.. I don't have the same

that sounds absolutely reasonable and I tried adapt the docker version to
1.1.. which didn't give me a working portal. So left it as it was
pre-configured in the template and trusted the comment "You don'T need to
change other parameters" (or similar...).
Do you think artifacts_version: 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT + docker_version:
1.0-STAGING-latest + gerrit_branch: release-1.0.0 will enhance the chance
to get the ONAP stack working?

Harish, Your explanation helps to understand the issue. According wiki https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Installation+in+Vanilla+OpenStack, template onap_openstack_float.yaml is the only template which right now supports DCAE data collection and analytics platform installation. This template is only available in master branch and it will download install scripts from 1.1.0-SNAPSHOT as defined in default env file. So you won't find those docker images for 1.0-STAGING-latest because they didn't exist for that release. The split to microservice is only done for the release 1.1. If you are planning on installing release 1.0 on openstack vanilla, and you are creating resources and traversal docker images, you are probably on the wrong branch. Please check the repo, demo and see what branch you are on. If you are on master, that could indicate why you are seeing this. You need to be on release-1.0 branch. Hi Josef, aai-resources, aai-traversal are microservices that are split off from aai-service repo, whose docker image is $NEXUS_REPO/openecomp/ajsc-aai:1.0-STAGING-latest. So you won't find those docker images for 1.0-STAGING-latest because they didn't exist for that release. The split to microservice is only done for the release 1.1. My understanding from our devs is that there were breaking changes in the schema (from portal) that 1.1 requires so we opted for the new table name - we could use the old table name but that might cause additional confusion. If it's going to be used in a clean build env, I think users can override the table names to make them match at docker runtime, or if it is judged that the defaults should match, I can change the master branch to match the 1.0.0 names. Hi Josef, For the issue with aai, the test-config repo is used for deployment of all aai related docker images in release 1.1. For the release 1.0, we had aai_vm_init.sh that takes care of starting all of the docker containers.
