Hello, + Bin Yang. I wanted to give an update on the Intel/Wind River PHAROS location lab resources. At PHAROS ONAP has two new PODs that are running and awaiting impeding IT approval for community access. One of the PODs consists of 18 dual socket Broadwell boards each with 256GB of RAM. There is also 74TB of storage available to ONAP projects (POD-25). The second POD is a 6 node dual socket Broadwell configuration with nodes housing between 64 and 128 GB of RAM each (POD-14). These PODs are connected via a GRE tunnel for VXLAN access between the two nodes. The expectation is POD-25 will host up-to four concurrent large ONAP development projects – and deployment of the vCPE use case over the GRE tunnel to POD-14. Bin Yang (Beijing) and I (North America) will support the OpenStack infrastructure software for both ONAP development and vCPE deployment. Along with a full time team from Intel @ PHAROS who support the hardware and the lab itself.
