Hello ONAP TSC Members: During the TSC meeting last Thursday, we had a good discussion on the proposals brought forth for how best to populate the TSC going forward. At the conclusion of that discussion, we agreed to put two proposals to the TSC for a vote.
The two proposals are below: #1 - Ranked Vote With 9 Operators Assured. - TSC Size: 18 - Allowed to run: Active Contributors - Allowed to vote: Active Contributors - At least one person from each of the 9 Operators must run [If an Operator doesn’t have any eligible candidates, then they can appoint a person to run] - One big ranked vote will be conducted via CIVS - Top ranked operators are identified (9 spots - one per operator company) - Remaining 9 positions taken by top ranking individuals - one per company Operators = AT&T, Bell, CMCC, China Telecom, Orange, Reliance Jio, Turk Telecom, Verizon, Vodafone – AKA the 9 Platinum Service Providers participating in ONAP at the beginning of 2018 #2 - Appoint LFN Platinum Members - Each existing Platinum Member of LFN is invited to appoint a TSC representative. - TSC Size: 27 This proposal adds ARM, Lenovo, NEC/Netcracker, Qualcomm, Samsung, Suse, Red Hat, Juniper to the existing ONAP Platinum Members already on the TSC Each TSC member will receive an invitation to vote. The invitation will come from "Phil Robb (CIVS poll supervisor", and the subject line will read "Poll: ONAP 2018 TSC Population Method". When you receive this Invitation, please follow the instructions to vote using the Condorcet Internet Voting Service (CIVS) at your earliest convenience.
