As Jim has been working hard on getting an understanding of our environment
and available resources it has rekindled discussion around the Openlab
Subcommittee. The subcommittee has basically been inactive for many months
now, however as we have more conversations around resources and policy
management it is clear that there is a growing need to revitalize it. To
that end we are doing a few things:

1. The new mailing list onap-openlab...@lists.onap.org
<mailto:onap-openlab...@lists.onap.org> has been created. Yan Yang has
volunteered to be the initial moderator with help from Jim and myself. If
you are interested in participating on the list, please join. If you are
interested in also helping to moderate, please let Jim or I know.

2. As there have been no formal subcommittee meetings for an extended
period, I have updated the membership page. All previous members have been
removed from the page so that we may have a fresh start. If you are
interested in being an actual member of the subcommittee, please add your
name here within the next two weeks:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Open+Lab+Subcommittee+Membership

3. Nominations for a Chairperson will start on or around April 8 based
upon the membership list above.

4. If your lab is listed here Yan Yang may be reaching out to you to
help ensure the information is up to date:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Physical+Labs

Thanks!

-Kenny
