As a Configuration Management Build Engineer you will help developing build scripts and tools that will improve the efficiency of development build cycles, release packaging, and configuration management processes. The position will work with a wide variety of tools and the ideal candidate will be experienced in a number of technologies including .NET applications and SQL. The individual will be working closely with the Systems Configuration Manager, Application Operations, and Software Engineering to support Clients projects. In this role you will further be working with custom developed applications understanding all aspects around deployments including the architecture of solution files, location and significance of log and trace files. This selected candidate will also participate in the orchestration of production software deployments, upgrades, product configuration and triage of applications. The position will require the ability to communicate and troubleshoot issues across multiple departments. Primary Responsibilities Role Specific Create automated build scripts for code compilation and packaging. Ensure Build environments are maintained and available. Create solutions for continuous builds, deployments and automation of such Develops custom tools to improve day-to-day processes Create and manage custom applications for software deployment and tool integration Develop SharePoint workflows for configuration management processes. Manage and Administer Team Foundation Server and Jenkins Build portal Procedure/documentation creation and ownership Assist with application integration triage assisting development with areas such as security issues, IIS settings, IIS log parsing. Coordinate deployment issues across various development and infrastructure teams and environments Create and execute industry best practices within area of responsibility Leverage past experience and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders including PMO, Product Leads, Senior Management, Deployment, Operations, and Support *Qualifications* Education: BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Years of Experience: 5 or more years Configuration Management experience, preferably in large scale enterprise projects, performs Build Engineering activities. Software Development experiences in Java and Microsoft .Net a plus.
