*Job description:*

This position is for a "Mortgage Loan Quality Analyst" role within the
Banking Group of "Wealth Management Americas" (WMA). The products and
offerings include: Mortgages, Credit/Debit Cards, Securities Backed Lending
(SBL), and Deposits & Account Management.

The Mortgage Loan Quality Program includes pre-funding and post-closing
quality control functions such as: timely and accurate file reviews, issue
identification, action planning, remediation, communication and thorough
reporting.   The position requires advanced mortgage underwriting and
credit knowledge, quality control experience, and proven problem solving
and decision making skills.  The successful candidate will have a
demonstrated ability to participate in time sensitive projects and enjoy a
high level of interaction with internal and external parties.

*Key competencies and responsibilities include:*

•                    Perform pre-funding and post-closing Quality Control
reviews within SLA timeframes and/or ensure that external quality control
vendors have performed reviews in a timely manner.

•                    Demonstrate the ability to perform a detailed analysis
of mortgage loan documents based on mortgage portfolio, investor, agency,
and compliance requirements. This includes verifying underwriter analysis,
adherence to guidelines and procedures and the ability to recognize red
flags

•                    Organize and maintain data using various systems.
This includes web-based and Microsoft applications (Excel and Access)

•                    Document and communicate the results of the reviews.

•                    Recommend reasonable corrective action relative to
quality control findings.

•                    Monitor quality findings and the ongoing resolution
process.

•                    Follow-up with business unit to ensure corrective
action sufficiently addresses the compliance, operational or credit issues
identified.

•                    Appropriately raise and/or escalate problems and
issues to management.

•                    Provide timely and appropriate feedback to quality
control vendors.

•                    Assist with timely and accurate reporting of all
quality control findings, action plans and root cause analyses.

•                    Have a friendly, positive and professional demeanor
and a willingness to grow.

•                    Provide excellent oral and written communications
(detail-oriented).

*Skills/ Qualifications (i.e. Years of experience, licenses, leadership
skills):*

*Education – B.A / B.S college degree*

•                    At least five years of recent residential mortgage
experience in residential loan underwriting, credit or quality control with
compliance document review knowledge.

•                    Strong understanding of mortgage lending including
underwriting, operations and mortgage compliance

•                    Strong understanding of the *HNW/UHNW* business or
ability to learn quickly

•                    Working knowledge of the current *FNMA, FHLMC*, etc.
Quality Control standards a plus.

•                    Accurate ability to perform in-depth reviews of
residential loan files in accordance with internal and external Quality
Control standards.

•                    Ability to demonstrate a Control mind-set and to make
decisions and propose recommendations to mitigate or reduce risk to the
business

•                    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook and Visio (report building a plus).

•                    Ability to work with changing and challenging
deadlines and multitask

•                    Strong communication skills – both verbally
(assertive, clear, direct) and written (proposals, presentations, reporting)

•                    An expert problem solver
