At this year's International Rexx Symposium (https://www.rexxla.org/events/schedule.rsp?year=2024)
BSF4ooRexx850, a bidirectional ooRexx-Java bridge, got released as "GA" (general available).
The most notable changes got presented at that very symposium and the slides of the additions and
changes can be found here:

This versions baselines are:
* ooRexx 5.0 (or higher)
* Java 8 (or higher)
