Thanks to everyone who commented!
Going over all comments I would base the next version of BSF4ooRexx on Java
1.6/6.0. This will make
all Java 1.5/5.0 language features available (like generics, enums, etc.) and
still allow
plug-in-replacement for older Java deployments.
