Thanks Brandon,
Keep me in that loop ...

We can do some testing for the resolution when it comes.
Cheers

Changeset 10858 (http://svn.open-ils.org/trac/ILS/changeset/10858) should
resolve the hit count issue. Grant, I can't say for sure yet if it will
resolve your details display issue.

If anyone has an opportunity to test this change, I would certainly
appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Numbering of search results invalid

2008-10-13 Thread Grant Johnson
Folks,

Do a search for something that returns multiple pages and choose to go to page
2 things look OK.
The display at the top indicates Results 11 - 20 of about 25 (page 2
of 3).
So far so good...

However - clicking on record 12 (The second one in the list) brings up the full
display and indicates record 2.
Result 2 of 25 --- This should indicate record 12.

2 side effects:
 1) Can't return, record by record, to the real record 9.
 2) Selecting end from the full display of record 12 takes me to record 15 of
25.

The first 10 are lost.

Hopefully there's a fix for this behavior.

While it's important to know how many pages and hits were returned in any
particular search, it's also important to display the correct record from that
list.
