Re: [OPEN-ILS-DEV] Evergreen Community Bug Squashing Week: May 21-25

2018-05-21 Thread Linda Jansova

Hi Terran (and Kathy),

Is there still a chance to get a sandbox localized to Czech for the Bug
Squashing Week?

Apart from testing localized interfaces as such we would like to
investigate (when comparing Czech sandbox with other sandboxes already
provided) whether it might be Czech localization that prevents the
reports interface to load properly. We are currently testing 3.1.1 on
our server with our data and settings and it would be great if we could
compare it to the sandbox.

Thank you in advance!

Linda

Hi Terran,

I wonder, if it would be possible again to provide sandbox localized to
Czech for the Bug Squashing Week for me. We are currently testing issues
concerning localization on our test server running Evergreen 3.1.1.
However, localized sandbox (if available) would be useful to make sure
that  test results are not twisted by our data or server settings.

Thanks
Eva

Hello everyone,

Our next community-wide Bug Squashing Week is scheduled for *Monday,
May 21 through Friday, May 25*

(Don't worry, you don't need to set aside the entire week to
participate - you can participate however much that you can fit into
your schedule.)

You may participate in Bug Squashing Day by:

- Submitting new bug fixes for reported bugs
- Testing bug fixes that others have submitted (these should have
the "pullrequest" tag)
- Confirming bug reports that haven't been reviewed yet (this is a
great way to participate if you're not a coder!)
- Pushing bug fixes into Evergreen (for core committers)
- Assisting with documentation updates

Bug Squashing Day Info and Guidelines:

If you would like to request a sandbox to test bug fixes on please
fill out the this form:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!
