without causing problems. If I am testing on the production server used live
by libraries, I usually test using dummy patrons and items. This also allows
the freedom of changing permission groups in patron records

I am hoping someone will be able to help us. We have recently
implemented Evergreen for a consortium in Scotland and there are already
new members joining so this issue becomes more of a priority! When
doing a patron search, you can obviously limit the results to

for my part, for better or worse, I use live items that i know are currently
not checked out. In my rural library setting this tends to be safe since I
choose titles that have low circ stats. I do, however run the risk that a
parton will try and check out my copy of Zen and The Art of

about you've set up your organizational hierarchies. Can you include info
about that. I think it will help people help you.

This is a major issue for our customers and needs to be sorted out as soon

There's a patron opt-in (to library) feature that SITKA and Conifer
uses, that might work for you. I've found a description in this old
