A while back someone (I think Wolf from Lyrasis but not sure) asked about a regional conference here in the south east. I replied that there wasn't one but anything is possible. What I didn't say is that I've always wanted to have one and tossed the idea around with colleagues quite a bit.

If I end up organizing it I'm likely to do it in Rock Hill, where I live. It's very close to Charlotte so travel would be as easy as it gets for folks (lots of interstate accesses, bus, airport even Amtrack). Charlotte is a very close drive and has a lot of amenities but we have nice cheap
