Hi All,
I thought I'd wrap up this Evergreen Hashtag discussion with a somewhat
unresolved resolution.
Over the course of my one-day tally of respondents from this list, as well
as Twitter responses and IRC resondents, the vote was 9 votes for evgils and
16 for egils.

I have almost always seen others shorten Evergreen to EG, with very few
exceptions (only one I can think of before this thread started). The v, in
the rare cases I've seen it use, has always put me off and caused a mental
stumble because if its rarity. At least in the EG (heh) dev

Hi All,
Does anyone know if there's an official hashtag for Evergreen? It sure would
make it easier to use social media if we did!
If one doesn't exist yet, I'd like to establish one. Koha is using kohails.
Maybe evergreenils? Or eg-ils or egils or... any thoughts?

You know, Dan...official like a common law marriage is official. ;)
I haven't seen a hashtag with ! before.
My 'druthers would be to have evergreen be part of the hashtag but it is
pretty long.
So, people have used:
!evergreen
!openils
#evgils
Any others that have been used?
Lori

Looks like the ! signifies a group link in Identi.ca.
When I mentioned #evgils, that's the hashtag that I employ on Twitter.

I'm afraid I'm reading #egils as e-gills
Hi all-
It was pointed out to me that even though the Evergreen 2011 Conference
twitter account is egconf11, that doesn't mean that we have to have
#egconf11 as the hashtag.
So #evg11 is still a possibility if people like that better.
And since everyone's weighing in on this..

However, I should mention that I do not feel strongly about my opinion and
will celebrate the use of whatever one wins out.
I'm in that boat, and as it is, have been subscribing to twitter
search feeds for every hashtag mentioned thus far. :-)
