Hi Evergreeners,
The Documentation Interest Group (DIG) invites you to join a special meeting on
IRC to discuss how the documentation is organized. All are welcome to join or
share ideas at this wiki

Hi Scott,
Another option might be to have the long overdue items age to a different status
(Long Overdue or Lost) when they are so many days overdue.
The copy statuses themselves have an opac_visible flag. So for example, if
items are set to Long Overdue after a certain amount of time, and
Hi Galen,
Thank you again. It just so happens that my consortium is SPARK, the very
one you used as your example below. They are cool with local variation so we
will be able to implement this solution.

Hi Galen,
Thank you for replying. We are in a consortium and other members may not
want to hide the due date. My assumption is that OPAC templates can be
customized for each individual library in a consortium. Is this assumption
correct? I am new to EG and still trying to figure out how all
Hi Evergreeners,
There's still time to vote on the meeting date for discussing reorganizing the
docs. Since I didn't send a reminder, I'll extend the timeframe until 11am EST
today. You can use the link below:

Hi Scott, folks,
No expert here, but we are in a consortium with multiple libraries and if your
EG installation is like ours, each library has a custom set of TT2 files. If
this one listed below is not present in the library that does not wish to
display the due dates, you can copy the

Hi everyone,
Just a gentle reminder to submit your program proposals for the upcoming

I’m really hoping that Rogan (or someone) will be doing a longer SQL session
this year! ☺

I'm game for that. Heck I'll take requests if someone finds me space in
the schedule. I'm willing to do anything useful to others. I learn from
others continually in the community so I'm glad to do what I can.
What would you like? Something like a workshop?

I've been considering submitting a reports session proposal as well. Nice to
see that there's interest!

Lise,
Even if you don't have SQL access, I would encourage you to attend a
session on the topic. In the reports module, you're essentially
constructing a SQL query. The more you understand joins and such, the more
you will understand how to build the reports you want, and the more useful
that
I agree, Jessica, and I plan to attend Rogan's session. He always manages
to make tough concepts easy to digest!

Lise, last year there was a half day session on Reports and it was AWESOME (and
entertaining). Jessica is right in

I had been hoping to do a half day session
I had been hoping to do a half day session this year but I was under the
impression that format wasn't an option this year. I may have
misunderstood though. Heck, I'll put one on the proposal listing and we'll
see what works out in the wash.

If I do a hands on workshop (I threw a rough proposal up) what kinds of sql
tasks would folks like to step through as learning examples?

I’m not sure that I’d be speaking for a majority, but I’d like to see some of
the more difficult requests for information that you may have gotten. Okay,
maybe moderately difficult for you, I’m not asking for the magnum opus “weeding
query” (I think that was what you said it was anyway, it’s
Hi,
Is there any way to prevent the Due Date from displaying in the TPAC? We
turned it off in our old ILS because some patrons would get upset if a book
they wanted was grossly overdue. If there is no way to prevent it from
displaying, is there a way to make long overdue items not be OPAC
