[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Spine label printers

2014-02-14 Thread Mary Toma
Is anyone using the Dymo LabelWriter 450 for printing spinals? We have a
Dymo LabelWriter400 that we have been using to print series labels, but,
we're not happy with it because the labels fade within a year. If you're
using one and are happy with it what supplies are you using? Thanks.

We're using the
Dymo Labelwriter 450s. We're quite fond of them, although they
aren't terribly sturdy. I'd have to check with our
catalogers about the brand of labels that we use. I can get that
  info, if you're interested.

  Cheers!

We're using the TSC TTP-247, if you're not stuck on using Dymo. We did a survey
of Evergreen users when we made the switch. It's been going for a year and the
labels look great. It's so quiet, and really fast. And cute, which might matter
if you're staring at it all day.

We get our labels
from http://www.labelvalue.com/. We use 1" by 1.5" spine labels:

[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Evergreen 508 compliance

2014-02-14 Thread Edward Roms
I've been searching for a list of Evergreen accessibility features. Would
someone have such a list handy? Either post or send it off list. I'm
interested in the staff client specifically, but also need general facts.

Thank you!
