I've been using Windows 10 for the last month or so, both staff client and OPAC
on numerous releases from 2.3 to 2.9 and I'm yet to have any issue with it.

It's been great for me so far.

Hi Ben,

I thought maybe I should be more detailed about Evergreen. I mean the client
and also the public OPAC.

Thank you for letting me know the client is working fine so far with Windows 10.

Hi Joan,

Assuming that you mean the Evergreen staff client, then yes, I have used it on
Windows 10 and so far no issues have occurred for me and it seems fine.

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Receipt template date formats?

2015-10-02 Thread Thomas Berezansky

Which is why I suggested the %due_date_sort_value% variant.

Quoting "McCanna, Terran" :

I tested %a (and every other standard and non-standard letter, lower
case and capitalized) and didn't find one that worked with %due_date%.

If %a works (and I haven't tested to see that it does) you would
probably want this:

%DATE_FORMAT(%due_date_sort_value%, %a)%

The pre-formatted %due_date% doesn't usually parse as a date.

Quoting "McCanna, Terran" :

Hi Jane,

I haven't tested this, but I think you can get the day of the week with %a:

%DATE_FORMAT(%due_date%, %a)%

Hi Evergreen,

We were wondering if we could change the format of the due date in
receipt templates. The %due_date% macro gives us the -MM-DD
format, but we were interested in getting the day of the week in there
somehow. Is this a possibility?

Thanks,

  -Jane

[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Hack-A-Way 2016

2015-10-02 Thread Rogan Hamby
The deadline for submissions for hosting the 2016 Hack-A-Way has passed.
We did receive one very good one a little late and I'm going to include it
for consideration so in the interest of fairness I'm also going to extend
the deadline out until Monday. This host did let me know in advance they
might run a little late and I haven't heard from others who might be in the
same situation. So, if I haven't heard from anyone else by the end of
business on Monday 10/5/15 (5 PM EST) I will announce the selected host
then.
