Hi Scott,
You're correct. The penalty alerts do not display in the patron sidebar on the
search results screen when you are first searching for a patron. The alert
message on the patron record does appear as does

You're right Terran. I was testing it with the mailing address and did
not notice that 'Mailing' header turns red.

We were wondering why, if a patron has an invalid address, there is nothing to
alert you in the left-hand summary column. It turns out such an alert will
appear, but only if you go into the patron record and then press the Back

Hi Jennifer,
You'll need to manually add the COPY_STATUS_LONG_OVERDUE.override permission
through your permissions editor and then give it to the staff that currently
have the other COPY_STATUS_LONGOVERDUE.override permission

That bug appears to be very close to resolution.

Meant to say more about depth. Here in North Carolina, some userids have
permissions at branch depth, others at system, and others at consortium.
I've been tripped up by having the wrong depth in the past! Then again, if
Jason's right about the bug, the depth won't matter.

On Fri, May 5,
Jennifer, if you check the User Permission Editor for the login user, is
COPY_STATUS_LONG_OVERDUE.override checked? And if so, at what depth?
Perhaps the login userid doesn't have quite enough permission to get the
job done.

Hi all,
At the last Evergreen developers meeting, we agreed that many good
things happened during our first bug squashing day in August and that it
would be worthwhile to continue scheduling them on a quarterly basis.
With that in mind, we already need to schedule another Bug Squashing Day
We would be glad to host some sandboxes again.
