Will you or others from your organization be attending the ALA Annual conference in Washington, DC, in June? The Evergreen community will be represented with a program tentatively called "Free Kittens and Beer! Open Source and Why it Works." This is aimed at current Evergreen users and prospective users, as well as others interested in Open Source library systems. Last year our panel discussion "Tech Gurus Optional: Running an Open-Source ILS Your Way" was well-received and we hope to do as well (or better!) this year.
If you're going to be at ALA, let us know if you'd like to participate in this event or if you have ideas for the presentation. We don't have a place and time yet, but we'll send out the details as soon as we can, and we hope you'll come if you can and will encourage others to come as well! -- Elizabeth B.
