Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Overdue notices?

2019-06-11 Thread Victoria Sandin
Hey all,

It turns out that there was an internal server error on our part, but it's
been fixed now, and overdue notices are now accessible.

Thanks for all your help!

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Overdue notices?

2019-06-11 Thread Chris Burton
They get dumped into folders that you can access with the URL. Here I gave
a couple examples. So it would be your base URL + notices + the date + the
name of the notice.
This is where mine are found, and I don't believe there is a page in the
Staff client to access them. Unless someone who knows better wants to jump
in.

My 40 day lost is found at
https://demo.evergreencatalog.com/notices/2019_06_11/40_day_lost.txt.pdf
10 day overdue
https://demo.evergreencatalog.com/notices/2019_06_11/10_day_overdue.txt.pdf

OR if you have access to the Server, in which they can all be located at
/openils/var/web/notices

2019-06-11 Thread Boyer, Jason A
Hi Victoria, how did you previously retrieve your notices in the XUL client?
Depending on how they were generated before there shouldn't be much that's
changed as far as notices are concerned. And are you the person responsible for
maintaining your Evergreen server or is there someone else that manages it?

Hi Robert,

I would verify any addresses configured in the staff client Library Settings
interface (actor.org_unit_setting table) look like valid email addresses.

It seems to not like the sender address or information, but I am not sure
if it is the setting in the opensrf.xml file or the settings in the staff
client. I am not getting a bounce email notification sent to the addresses
specified as the sender email. We have correct email addresses in the sender

Here is the notification section of opensrf.xml:

I was wondering of the problem would most likely relate to:

 1. The opensrf.xml file configuration

 2. Setup in the staff client.

 3.An issue with a perl script: /usr/share/perl5/Email/Send/SMTP.pm
  or generate_circ_notices.pl
